I am a certified formulation scientist and kaizen trained process engineer.I lead a team of scientists across Europe and North America to deliver ground breaking Innovation in premium beauty market. I am Also involved in champion concept to launch product development for clinically proven skincare products. 3 tier product scale up through continuous process improvement.
In depth Knowledge of Biochemistry and Microbiology learnt during B. Tech Biotechnology tenure have always provided me edge over others and strengthened my competency throughout my career. I must also mention that my chemical engineering classes have helped me excel as top process engineer in my industry.
I have collected many accolades and awards in my career from many organizations which I strongly feel that I owe it to my beloved teachers and department. BIT holds a special place in my heart regardless of which country I am working.
My BiT experience has been really memorable. After graduation I joined TCS and Informatica and have gained 9 years of experience after which I'm currently pursuing my Masters in AI from NUI which is amongst the top 200 universities in world. All these wouldn't have been possible without the knowledge and professors' support in BIT. It paved a better future for me not only professionally but personally as well.
It was an amazing experience learning here from highly passionate faculty members. We got the opportunity to explore a lot of technologies which laid the foundation for industry knowledge. I will always cherish the journey here.
My overall experience in BIT was really good. I want to thank all our faculty members for their help, support and their guidance which helped to shape our Careers.
I am Involved in extensive structural characterization and characterization of Post Translational Modifications (PTMs) of therapeutic monoclonal antibodies and fusion proteins. I am also associated with the development of world's first humanized anti-CD6 mAb Itolizumab (ALZUMAB™). The professors of the Biotechnology department, BIT Kolkata were the best mentors for helping us build the foundation from which we were able to take the subsequent steps in our research career in industry and academia. Apart from that our laboratory curriculum was very contemporary in terms of the requirements for pursuing a career in research.
It was a very memorable journey of 4years. The faculty and the infrastructure are really amazing, teachers helped each and every student to get corporate ready. Not only my technical knowledge but also my interpersonal skills also got developed I'm these 4years. Placement is also pretty good . I got placed in TCS as system engineer.
BIT has helped me realize my dreams and achieve my goals. I am proud to be a BITian. At the very outset I would like to express my heartiest thanks to the BIT family. I extend my warm regards to my department, the Dept. of IT which has immensely helped me succeed. I am thankful to all the faculty members of the College for their continuous efforts and support. Apart from excellent academic experience, I also gained the benefits of organizing Cultural & Technical Fest and also had great memories being part of football team which brought victory to the team. I cherish every moment spent at BIT. My graduation at BIT has been a very interesting and awesome journey. Apart from this, I was lucky enough to get the straight job placement from the college campus.

My experience at the college was very good . Our teachers are experts in their respective fields yet are very humble , reachable and always there to help us . The supporting staff also assisted us whenever needed . The training and placement department is highly competitive and provided us with industry level training and exposure . I am extremely grateful to all of them for providing such an excellent atmosphere to learn and grow.
BiT being the second home for us provided ample opportunities that helped us a lot in landing into the corporate world. The memories of BiT can never be forgotten.
A place closed to my heart because of the crucial 4 years of my life that I spent here made me a better person and a skilled engineer in my career further. The faculties are like family here where you can go whenever you want with any kind of problem without hesitation. The environment of the whole campus is built such a way that encourages to showcase anyone's inner skill and also gives the space to grow further along with studies.
I had an amazing experience with BIT. It always felt like a family to me, these four years will be one of the best phases of my life.
