Every year the senior students of Bengal Institute of Technology organizes LITHIUM – to welcome the newly admitted freshers by heart and to give their journey a flamboyant start. The new academic year brings happiness and joy with the arrival of the juniors who are the bearers of the success trends set by the seniors and to reach a greater height. To welcome them to the department and make them feel at home, the institute organizes a Freshers' Day, giving the newcomers a joyful and warm start of their graduation days....
The day begins with the welcome, invocation, and blessings from the almighty. A few words of wisdom are shared by our respected Principal and Head of the Departments. The seniors welcome the newcomers into this new threshold of life with colorful amalgamation of events and performances. The event list include dancing, singing, drama, and other on and off-stage events. The event ends with experience sharings from the senior students, and lastly a vote of thanks, followed by lunch...
Seniors as well as the freshers take part in this most participated and loved event of showcasing their talents in front of their seniors and juniors...
Students enact their best to potray the thoughts of the renowned novelists that not only entertains the audience but also satisfies their intellectual minds...
We also conduct an exciting contest called "Mr. and Ms. Freshers", where the newcomers are allowed to introduce themselves and participate in fun activities to win the titles.
It is the most exciting and electrifying event of the day, when the artists sets the stage and the floor of the auditorium on fire with students dancing their heart-out with the beats and rythms of the music. As everyone sways with the rhythm of the musical band's, juniors and seniors learn to bond along the lines of true friendship....
