The Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) department commenced its journey at Techno Bengal Institute of Technology (TBIT) in the year of 2024. It is an undergraduate programme designed to provide students with a strong foundation in computer applications, information technology, and software development. The programme aims to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical applications by providing students with quality education, experienced and dedicated faculty members, and a supportive learning environment.

The BCA Department strives to nurture competent and responsible computer professionals equipped with the technical knowledge, practical skills, ethical values, and professional attitude required to meet the evolving demands of the IT industry. Through project-based learning and industry-oriented education, students are provided opportunities to develop practical skills and prepare themselves for higher studies as well as diverse career opportunities in the field of information technology. We encourage the spirit of innovation, teamwork, and entrepreneurship among our students. Students are motivated not only to organize and participate in various technical events, such as workshops, hackathons, and seminars, but are also encouraged to engage in social and community-oriented activities. These initiatives help them to develop leadership qualities, teamwork, communication skills, and a strong sense of social responsibility.
