The students of the Biotechnology department formed the Students Association of Biotechnology, BIT (SABBIT) as a govt. registered independent forum through which awareness about biotechnology and its prospects may be spread among the college students as well as the general public in the state. SABBIT also organizes debate, scientific and review poster competitions. During the event, students get opportunities to interact directly with eminent scientists and professors in the country and abroad.
